The Design process
Exclusive textile designs are developed for clients
For a custom design, the client provides inspiration imagery so I get a feel for their vision. We discuss important elements like scale, spacing, and handwriting, as well as technical details including print technique, repeat size and colour
The finished artwork is provided in repeat, in layered Photoshop or Illustrator files. Ensuring the final artwork is both beautiful and workable for the printer is a vital part of the process
The client will receive an exclusive design, which they can print onto any number of garments, products and fabric bases. Artwork may include hand drawn, painterly and digitally manipulated elements. It can be a repeat pattern, T-shirt placement, runway inspired print, geometric, novelty print, embroidery or appliqué
